The company history
Vertigo Srl was founded in the early 2000s in Somaglia by Pietro Solari. The origins date back to 1985 when Giuseppe Solari, the father, started the Erbochimica production business in Somaglia. A family history and a common thread that has always characterized this story: the private label.
The company has always supported other companies in their growth by producing professional haircare and skincare products on behalf of third parties. Over the years, the private label has become an increasingly significant and constantly growing part of Vertigo.

The private label represents an important part for Vertigo, even if the company’s business is oriented for over 70% to the production and distribution of its own brands in Italy and abroad.

Product range
Thanks to the know-how that comes from over 40 years of activity and the wide formulation portfolio, Vertigo is able to offer its clients a rich assortment of products tested and appreciated by customers.
The proposal to the client takes place in close collaboration with the marketing office, to help them in the development of hair and scalp treatment systems that best adapt to market launches. The customer can select Premium formulas – with maximum performance and enriched with the most precious ingredients – or Smart formulas – dynamic and versatile – for the care of lengths, scalp or for styling products.
A wide range of active ingredients, functional ingredients and fragrances available and tested allows a wide customization of the formulas, to guarantee exclusivity in the market.
Research and development laboratory
The quality of the formulations is one of Vertigo’s flagships.The Research and Development Laboratory is able to assist the client in the development phases of private label lines, from the development of the desired formulas to the creation of samples before production.
Production
A modern production department with extensive use of automated technologies allows the preparation of bulks from 250 kg to 1000 kg of liquids and emulsions. The filling department has automatic and semi-automatic lines ideal for production batches from 1000 to 5000 pcs.

Quality control
Our Quality Control laboratory verifies the conformity of raw materials, packaging and finished products, to guarantee high quality standards for each production.
Microbiological tests are conducted on bulk and finished products to guarantee quality and safety. Our formulas are accompanied by Challenge Tests that verify the effectiveness of preservatives, simulating the conditions of use to ensure the safety of the products over time.
Regolatory
To guarantee compliance with European cosmetic regulations (EC Regulation No. 1223/2009) and the United Kingdom (UKCR 2013), our team performs daily:
– Review of formulas to verify compliance with regulations.
– Review of labels and marketing claims to guarantee accuracy and truthfulness.
– Preparation of the PIF (Product Information File) and the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR).
– CPNP: management of mandatory notifications for the marketing of cosmetic products.
