Pollution and hair

Air pollution is known to be one of the main problems and a challenge to overcome for the health of our planet and in particular for big cities. Pollution is a mix of substances that are toxic to our bodies and our health: it is a mix of fine particulate matter, smog, smoke, PM10, exhaust gases, carbon monoxide, industrial and heating plant emissions.
Pollution also negatively affects the health of our skin and hair.
Pollutants settle on the hair shaft, making it heavy, dull and smelly; hair thus loses its shine and softness. The greatest damage, however, is on the skin: in fact, smog particles are absorbed by the skin causing dermatitis, redness and irritation, in short, many scalp problems.
